We have recently completed a major building project, an extension at the front of the property, a kitchen extension at the back and to the side of the property and half of the loft has been converted. Every room changed and all windows and doors were replaced. Throughout it all from planning through to completion Building Torbay supported us in every aspect of the work. Martin was extremely helpful throughout and came up with suggestions which enhanced and complemented a lot of the areas.

We cannot speak highly enough of Russ, the Site Manager, who managed the entire project, from staffing to orders and deliveries whilst also working very hard along with the Team, plus also organising all the sub Contractors, to come in at exactly the right times. This enabled us to live in during most of the build and be on hand for any decision making.

The work was quickly arranged, and carried out as expected. If there was ever a glitch, Russ would be on it in a flash, and everything was then quickly taken care of. For example, I was very grateful to Russ and Martin for assisting me with a tradesman I'd hired previously to help with part of the project whose work was delayed and sporadic (not a Building Torbay associated tradesman). Brilliant communication throughout. Could not believe how quick and efficient they were. Completed a kitchen refit with wiring, plastering, fitting and decorating in less than a week. Finished to a high standard. Very professional but also showed that they cared a bout their customers as well. Left the kitchen clean. Would highly recommend
I have a three storey house, the work that Building Torbay undertook was, to remove all walls on the ground floor, recite the soil pipe on all three floors to the outside wall and connect to main sewer, move all bathrooms to the outside wall, one on each floor. Remove all chipboard flooring on all floors, and put in gas underfloor heating and wooden floor boards on all floors. Top floor remove all walls and low ceiling and put in vaulted ceiling plus two Velux windows.

All this work was started in November 2015 and finished March 2016 the work was continuous, I am delighted with their excellent standard of work, they were always very polite and helpful enabling me to live in my house during these major alterations, I can highly recommend this company.
